Kamogelo Mmutlana, Divisional CEO of Barloworld Logistics is pleased to announce that, with effect from 01 October 2019, Sydney Tshibubudze will be joining the executive leadership team as Executive: Strategic Sourcing, Barloworld Logistics Division.

In his new role, Sydney will establish a shared services function that will oversee and execute procurement and strategic sourcing at an integrated Divisional level.

Sydney is an astute strategic leader who advocates for greater business efficiency through operational excellence in Strategic Sourcing. He gained experience in the engineering sector, management consulting and other commercial areas where he was exposed to a diverse spectrum of strategic business issues and related solutions.

Sydney joins us from Lafarge SA where, in his most recent role,  he served as Country Head of Procurement.

He has held various strategic positions within the engineering and management consulting sectors, working for organisations such as the State Information Technology Agency (Sita), Eskom, Hatch Africa and Accenture SA.

Sydney holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand, BCom Quantitative Management from UNISA and an MBA from the University of Cape Town Graduate Business School.
